Met office predicts dry weather in country's
The weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country while light rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind may occur at one or two places over Chattogram and Sylhet divisions.
Day temperature may fall slightly over north-western part and it may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere over the country, said a met office release forecasting weather for the next 24 hours beginning from 9 this morning.
Night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Southwest monsoon has withdrawn from Northern part of Bangladesh. Conditions are favourable for further withdrawal of South-west monsoon from remaining part of Bangladesh. Monsoon is weak over North Bay.
Country’s maximum temperature on Monday was recorded 34.5 degrees Celsius at Chandpur and minimum temperature today was 19.5 degrees Celsius at Tetulia.
Maximum rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6am today was recorded 03 millimeters (mm) at Feni.
