Young entrepreneurs to take aviation industry to new heights

Dhaka : For further prosperity of the country’s aviation sector, it is essential for young entrepreneurs to grace the industry with their progressive practices. Hence, Rhythm Group’s (GSA of Vistara, Air India and Ethiopian Airlines in Bangladesh) Managing Director Shohag Hossain wants to bring efficient leaders and manpower to his company.

For this purpose, he is training his son Abir Hossain who is currently doing his bachelors in Canada on Business Economics.

In 2025, Shohag hopes to see his son leading the company to even greater achievements and milestones.

Talking to The Bangladesh Monitor, the young Abir Hossian, said, “I wish to see Rhythm Group completely digitalised in the future. Sales should be easier thanks to digitalisation. Marketing is another segment I want to push forward in the coming years.”

“Another key target of mine would be to introduce a new airline that would carry passenger and cargo to serve our country better,” he added.

“As a young entrepreneur, I am committed to effectively contribute to the aviation industry keeping in line with the Sustainable Development Goals and environmental concerns,” Abir also mentioned.

Innovation is the key element young entrepreneurs can bring in the industry, said Abir, expressing that is exactly what he aims to do when he will take the mantle.

For this purpose, proper policy and logistics support from the government is crucial to help the emerging young entrepreneurs to further take the industry to new heights.
